A new Webportal for B&R - Integration won the RedDot Integration Award 2005
At the RedDotDays 2005 (21/22 Jun. 2005) B&R and ecom got "RedDot Integration Award 2005" and leftThomas Cook AG and ETAS Group behind them.
Integrating and combining reddot CMS, reddot CPS, SAP R/3 and Lotus Notes together to one web protal were the goals of the project.
Project leading and managing, SAP and Lotus Notes integrating and programming were our jobs.
Project Facts
- Information of more than 6000 products is stored in SAP which is synchronisized with the reddot CMS server
using techniques like SAP Businessconnector, XML and RQL. - Also more than 5000 product related files are updated from SAP to CMS server.
- The whole productcatalog structure and download structure is maintained within SAP.
- Over 10000 user accounts are handled by a Lotus Notes LDAP and replicate between reddot CPS portal server and SAP.
